Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Java application code and participate in design and code reviews.
- Upgrade application frameworks for security, supportability, and performance improvements.
- Monitor production systems, improve observability, lead root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot issues with business and operations users and execute or automate operational workflows.
- Manage AWS resources, restart jobs, respond to production incidents, and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and maintain runbooks, knowledge bases, and technical documentation.
- Drive process automation and tooling improvements.
Requirements
- Experience implementing and maintaining IBM Sterling OMoC and IBM Sterling Inventory Visibility.
- Experience in software development, ideally with Java.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, system integration, pub/sub messaging, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience managing cloud resources in AWS.
- Experience with on-call support, incident management, and meeting SLA commitments.
- Strong communication skills for bridging technical and non-technical discussions.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvement.
- Comfort collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
