Responsibilities
- Implement application logic in Java for Mastercard’s Decision Management platform.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests and apply maintainable, scalable, secure development practices.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and complete committed iteration tasks.
- Diagnose complex problems and develop creative solutions for high-performance applications.
- Work with stakeholders on development updates and next steps.
- Mentor junior team members and seek support from senior colleagues when blocked.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills and deep knowledge of Java.
- Excellent knowledge of Spring and other frameworks.
- Knowledge of unit testing and mocking frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or EasyMock.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with Oracle.
- Experience developing high-performance applications.
- Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, organizational, and task-management skills.
- Desirable experience with Rest Assured, Selenium WebDriver, IBM ILOG/ODM, Pivotal GemFire, Docker, Kubernetes, or Angular.
- A BS in computer science or a related field is preferred.
