Responsibilities
- Design and implement software features, services, and components.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and participate in code reviews.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Improve system reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and engineering processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Own assigned features, services, or components from design through implementation and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
Benefits
- Typical base pay range is CAD $85,800-$169,300 per year across Canada.
