Responsibilities
- Design and implement new components and improvements for S3 storage services.
- Write code to deliver features, fix bugs, and solve large-scale storage problems.
- Add testing to existing code and improve operational tooling.
- Collaborate with engineers and senior engineers on component design and delivery.
- Investigate customer-impacting operational issues and determine root causes.
- Write documents describing solutions to complex technical problems.
- Use generative AI to automate root-cause analysis and reduce manual operator involvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
