Responsibilities
- Develop features and functionality that enable Kubernetes clusters to support teams’ container-orchestration needs.
- Build and enhance core Kubernetes components, with an emphasis on controllers and infrastructure efficiency.
- Improve the scalability, availability, and performance of Kubernetes-centered services.
- Evolve platform design and architecture to support continued growth and smooth operations.
- Partner with SRE to triage, investigate, and remediate production issues.
- Drive projects from initial concept through production and collaborate with the upstream Kubernetes community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience.
- Strong experience building and scaling core components of Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems.
- Highly proficient in Golang.
- Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with Kueue, Yunikorn, or related technologies is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
