Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for customer consulting and software-development projects.
- Apply AI methods and tools across the software-development lifecycle, including LLMs, agentic frameworks, code generation, and test automation.
- Build agentic workflows using tool use/function calling, planner-executor approaches, and multi-agent patterns.
- Define guardrails and ensure reliable behavior of AI systems.
- Develop RAG and retrieval architectures using embeddings, chunking strategies, and re-ranking.
- Evaluate system quality systematically and optimize latency and cost.
- Provide technical leadership in project teams when needed.
- Share knowledge through training and other knowledge-transfer activities.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in computer science or a comparable discipline.
- Deep practical software-development knowledge, for example with Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript.
- Practical experience applying AI in software engineering, such as Claude or Copilot.
- Knowledge of AI algorithms and machine-learning fundamentals, including classification, clustering, and embeddings.
- Ability to evaluate AI systems.
- Practical experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel, prompting, and structured outputs.
- Familiarity with agentic protocols such as MCP and A2A.
- Fluent German at least C1 level and very good English at least B2 level.
- Ability to work independently and actively contribute to project-team success.
