Base Salary
$126k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for OpenShift Container Orchestration Platform and Ansible Automation Platform.
- Engineer, deploy, manage, and support OpenShift containerized infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Ansible automation for deploying and managing OpenShift infrastructure and applications.
- Deploy and manage compute, storage, network, logging, and monitoring infrastructure.
- Partner with application teams and developers to ensure platform reliability, functionality, and performance.
- Support the design, development, operation, and decommissioning stages of the containerized application lifecycle.
Requirements
- Expert-level working knowledge and operational ability with OpenShift and Ansible Automation Platform.
- Operational experience deploying and running infrastructure and services at scale on OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with orchestration tools for CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tooling, including Ansible and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, storage, virtualization, and containerization concepts.
- Understanding of software engineering concepts including the software development lifecycle and GitOps.
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills across networking, infrastructure, application, and database stacks.
- Experience with GitHub and Bitbucket repositories is required; OpenStack and Artifactory experience is preferred.
- Experience with containerized persistent storage, a general-purpose programming language such as Python, and technical documentation is desirable.
- A degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical subject is desirable.
