Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services while optimizing load balancing, caching, resource allocation, and performance.
- Develop hybrid-cloud platform services and RESTful services in distributed environments.
- Build Kubernetes-native operators with kubebuilder and manage Kubernetes resources including CRDs and CRs.
- Implement asynchronous programming and system-level functionality involving low-level interactions and memory management.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases and hyperscaler cloud environments.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests and incorporate them into automated test frameworks.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues through root-cause analysis and provide sustainable solutions.
- Document technical work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience, ideally with Golang.
- Significant experience building RESTful services in distributed environments.
- Strong system programming skills, including low-level interactions, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Thorough knowledge of Kubernetes containerization, container management, application packaging, and deployment customization.
- Experience developing Kubernetes-native operators with kubebuilder and managing CRDs and CRs.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Neo4j.
- Experience with hyperscalers such as GCP.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps and infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in unit and integration testing and automated test frameworks.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, load balancing, and security.
- Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
