Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for the architecture, design, development, review, and sustainment of low-level embedded software.
- Develop and maintain device drivers, Board Support Packages, boot software, and board bring-up capabilities.
- Perform hardware-software integration for existing and next-generation products.
- Translate product and system requirements into reliable, reusable, and maintainable software.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, application software, verification, cybersecurity, functional safety, manufacturing, and product teams in a global Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Strong ownership and sound engineering judgment are required.
- Experience with low-level embedded software, device drivers, Board Support Packages, boot software, board bring-up, and hardware-software integration is required by the role description.
- Ability to convert product and system requirements into reliable, reusable, and maintainable software is required.
