Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and work with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Develop and deploy microservices on Kubernetes using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to distributed systems supporting customer sign-up and verification flows.
- Write clean, tested, and maintainable code using sound design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews and pull requests and help improve code quality.
- Own features from design through production and follow a build-ship-run approach.
Requirements
- 3–4+ years of backend development experience.
- Experience with Node.js and REST API development; TypeScript experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort with Git, code reviews, and pull requests.
- Understanding of clean code and basic design patterns.
- Ability to work independently on most tasks and communicate clearly in English.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Stockholm office.
- Preferred: experience with Java, Spring or Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Benefits
- Hybrid work from the Stockholm office.
- Monthly salary range of SEK 50,500–75,500 depending on experience.
