Base Salary
$82k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build maintainable, resilient, performant, and scalable test automation frameworks across multiple products.
- Create and execute test plans and Playwright-based functional tests covering critical workflows and edge cases.
- Perform application integration, system, system/network integration, acceptance, performance, volume, load, and fallback testing.
- Use AI-assisted tools and MCP to accelerate test creation, analyze failures, and reduce test maintenance.
- Lead technical decisions regarding test automation architecture, frameworks, tools, and practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to clarify requirements and improve applications.
- Prepare project status, management review, quality review, and audit reports.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers by guiding development, assigning work, and ensuring testing quality.
- Identify and implement improvements to QA processes, tools, and deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Quality Assurance experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript for scalable test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web application test automation.
- Advanced experience applying AI tools for test generation, self-healing scripts, code completion, and maintenance reduction.
- Experience leading or mentoring QA engineers and building test automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience with backend and frontend testing and automation.
- Understanding of test methodologies and techniques and experience working in an agile development environment.
- Ability to work systematically under broad performance guidelines, changing priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required to comply with government contract and federal agency requirements.
