Base Salary
$93k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain efficient backend software code using development best practices.
- Support the design and development of software applications aligned with business objectives.
- Implement unit and integration testing frameworks for software validation.
- Document software design, development, and deployment procedures.
- Analyze integration needs and plan system architecture to meet technical specifications.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot software issues and provide resolutions that improve performance and user satisfaction.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to engineering standards.
- Work variable schedules, including nights and weekends, as necessary.
Requirements
- Junior-level backend software engineering experience with Python or PHP.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Comcast may consider coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience instead.
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to contribute across requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and application integration.
- Ability to work collaboratively, learn new technologies, and exercise independent judgment.
