Base Salary
$146k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal platforms, tooling, and developer workflows for developing, testing, reviewing, deploying, and operating software.
- Identify high-impact platform investments that reduce developer friction and improve engineering velocity, quality, and reliability.
- Build practical AI-powered workflows that help engineers write, review, test, and ship software more effectively.
- Partner with product engineering, infrastructure, security, and technical leaders to identify needs and prioritize platform capabilities.
- Create reusable tools, automation, documentation, and self-service capabilities that serve as trusted paved paths.
- Measure developer experience through engineering metrics, feedback, and adoption data, and continuously improve outcomes.
- Help establish the technical direction, engineering standards, and long-term evolution of the new Developer Experience Engineering team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building production software in modern engineering organizations.
- Experience solving organization-wide engineering problems and building internal platforms or products for engineers.
- Strong technical judgment, product thinking, and a focus on maintainability and long-term platform health.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and build trust through partnership and influence.
- Preferred experience with Developer Experience or Platform Engineering teams, internal developer platforms, engineering productivity initiatives, CI/CD, release engineering, developer environments, software delivery systems, AI-assisted software development, or developer tooling.
- Preferred familiarity with engineering productivity measurement frameworks such as DORA or SPACE.
- Preferred experience in high-growth engineering organizations where platform investments had organization-wide impact.

- United States base salary ranges vary by state: $171,500–$250,000 in CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT, and $146,000–$215,000 in other U.S. states.
