Responsibilities
- Support sales and field sales engineering teams with technical security expertise and knowledge of Fivetran’s security operations and platform features.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to prospect and customer security questionnaires using internal tooling.
- Collaborate with Legal and AppSec to maintain internal security questionnaire libraries.
- Lead security documentation and internal enablement efforts for the sales engineering department.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align solutions with customer security needs.
- Engage with prospects and customers on security architecture reviews and compliance discussions, taking on increasing ownership over time.
- Track and share developments in security technologies and practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a security administrator, backend engineer, field CISO, or IT services professional in an enterprise or similarly complex environment.
- Extensive expertise with modern cloud and on-premise network architectures, connectivity mechanisms including SSH, Reverse SSH, VPN, and PrivateLink, and data security.
- Ability to communicate Fivetran’s detailed security posture and influence security audiences at all levels.
- Experience with trust center management platforms and security questionnaire automation software.
- Experience using generative AI to accelerate and scale day-to-day workflows.
- Curiosity, fast technical learning ability, and enthusiasm for teaching and sharing knowledge.
- Familiarity with Java, SQL, and Python is preferred.
