Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow HAM and SAM solution architecture from discovery and requirements definition through implementation, deployment, and optimization.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for ServiceNow HAM, SAM, ITAM, CMDB, ITOM, and ITSM delivery.
- Design hardware and software asset lifecycle, license compliance, data governance, integration, and optimization solutions.
- Facilitate customer workshops, requirements sessions, architecture reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs, technical specifications, implementation plans, roadmaps, data models, and integration specifications.
- Guide integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise, endpoint-management, procurement, ERP, discovery, contract-management, and software-license systems.
- Oversee solution quality across configuration, customization, integrations, data migration, testing, security, and deployment.
- Provide architectural guidance to engineers and foster collaboration across architects, developers, project managers, delivery teams, and clients.
- Research ServiceNow capabilities and industry trends to recommend enhancements and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in IT services, enterprise architecture, consulting, or solution delivery.
- At least 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience.
- Significant experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow HAM, SAM, ITAM, or related enterprise asset-management capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle processes and software asset-management processes, including discovery, normalization, entitlements, reconciliation, compliance, and optimization.
- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM principles and with integrations involving ERP, procurement, endpoint-management, discovery, contract-management, and software-license systems.
- Experience with ServiceNow configuration and scripting, including JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with SSO, SAML, SSL/TLS, web services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, SOAP, SCP, and FTPS.
- Ability to create architecture diagrams, technical designs, data flows, and implementation documentation.
- Strong client-facing communication, workshop facilitation, requirements analysis, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification in Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, or related product areas is strongly preferred; additional CMDB, ITSM, or ITOM certifications are a plus.
