Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using well-architected principles.
- Build scalable and highly available environments using AWS compute, storage, database, networking, and content delivery services.
- Implement networking architectures, hybrid connectivity, and multi-account AWS environments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Write Python, Bash, and PowerShell automation scripts for provisioning, operations, baselining, and governance.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and controlled environment promotion.
- Create reusable infrastructure modules, templates, and libraries.
- Implement AWS security, least-privilege access, encryption, key management, governance, and compliance controls.
- Monitor performance, availability, and cost; troubleshoot incidents; perform root-cause analysis; and implement preventive measures.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies and participate in operational support rotations.
- Optimize AWS usage and costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, savings plans, budgets, and cost reporting.
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, and architecture teams and contribute to cloud standards and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Solid knowledge of AWS compute, networking, storage, and database services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or CodePipeline.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, high availability, scalability, and fault-tolerant design.
- Experience supporting production environments and understanding of DevOps and SRE practices.
