Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, port, integrate, optimize, and maintain Coreboot/FSP-based BIOS solutions for x86 platforms.
- Perform platform bring-up and debug boot-time issues across customer hardware platforms.
- Work with Coreboot boot stages, FSP integration, UPDs, memory maps, device trees, and OS bootloader handoff mechanisms.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in x86 Coreboot/FSP/BIOS development.
- Strong experience with x86 CPU/APU architectures and associated compilation and build tools.
- Expert-level programming skills in C.
- Hands-on experience with platform bring-up and firmware debugging.
- Good understanding of Coreboot architecture, boot stages, UPDs, memory maps, FSP, device tree concepts, and payload-to-OS bootloader handoff.
