Base Salary
$200k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and evaluate models for object detection, classification, anomaly detection, and sensor-based inference.
- Optimize model architectures and inference pipelines for embedded and edge hardware under compute and bandwidth constraints.
- Develop datasets and labeling strategies, including data augmentation, synthetic data generation, and domain adaptation.
- Prototype across computer vision, signal processing, and multimodal fusion applications.
- Implement real-time sensor-data processing pipelines for on-device and cloud environments.
- Create tools and scripts for benchmarking, data visualization, and debugging model performance.
- Evaluate current machine learning research and tools for applicability to the product roadmap.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and internal technical documentation.
- Maintain eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience working with images, time-series, geospatial, RF, and other data types.
- Experience with edge or embedded machine learning deployments, model compression, and hardware-aware optimization.
- Familiarity with cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning, and model monitoring.
- Master's or PhD in computer vision, machine learning, robotics, or a related field preferred; bachelor's candidates may be considered case by case.
- Strong debugging, experimentation, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Experience in maritime, aerospace, or remote sensing domains is a bonus.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
