Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize low-level software integrating new Arm architecture improvements across Linux, Android, and related user-space components.
- Collaborate with Arm architecture, hardware, and chipset teams to deliver support for new architectural features.
- Investigate and resolve complex performance, efficiency, and security issues across software layers.
- Participate in internal and external code reviews and upstream open-source collaboration.
- Contribute to the evolution of Arm-based systems and influence technical direction.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C and C++ and a strong understanding of operating-system internals such as memory management, scheduling, or virtualization.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and structured debugging skills for complex low-level software issues.
- Experience participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and upstream open-source teamwork.
- Strong written and spoken English and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Android internals, Armv8-A or newer, scripting or Python, Rust, or another memory-safe language.
