Senior Gameplay Programmer
Warner Bros. DiscoveryResponsibilities
- Drive and implement new core gameplay features through design, scheduling, implementation, and polish.
- Develop gameplay systems including combat and enemy AI using high-quality code.
- Provide constructive input on new and existing features and suggest development-process improvements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and communicate technical concepts, requirements, risks, and opportunities.
- Support production through backlog review, task estimation, and Jira ticket management.
Requirements
- Advanced understanding of C++.
- Advanced understanding of major gaming platforms and their software development requirements.
- Experience working on and shipping at least one AAA video game title.
- Strong demonstrable videogame design skills and a good understanding of game technology principles.
- Strong teamwork, listening, communication, and enthusiasm for games across platforms.
- Unreal Engine experience is advantageous.
