Responsibilities
- Advise private equity firms on strategic technology challenges related to acquisitions and divestitures.
- Support technology due diligence, technology carve-outs, technology post-merger integration, and portfolio-company value creation initiatives.
- Drive strategic IT implementation projects and actively steer relevant project modules.
- Analyze client situations and market developments to shape future-oriented customer journeys.
- Design and optimize IT architectures for enterprise solutions, custom software development, and sustainable digital solutions.
- Apply machine learning, LLMs, and generative AI tools to consulting and client work.
- Address cybersecurity and cyber-resilience considerations in technology strategies.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience in IT strategy and consulting, professional software development, IT project management, or a technology-related corporate development or startup environment.
- Basic understanding of technology financials and their impact on deal value.
- Experience with M&A environments, especially technology due diligence, technology carve-outs, technology post-merger integration, or private-equity-related value creation.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and other generative AI tools and the ability to apply them across work tasks.
- Strong strategic, analytical, conceptual, creative, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer focus.
- University degree with above-average academic performance in a STEM-related field or business management.
