Base Salary
$102k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise AI applications, agentic workflows, RAG solutions, and model-powered APIs.
- Provide technical leadership as the primary contributor for an AI delivery squad.
- Build reusable AI Factory shared services, engineering frameworks, implementation patterns, and platform components.
- Develop AI quality engineering capabilities, including automated testing, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, structured outputs, drift detection, failure analysis, and performance optimization.
- Implement AIOps and LLMOps capabilities including observability, telemetry, logging, monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and production support.
- Contribute to deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, release management, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
- Evaluate technical designs, establish engineering standards, collaborate with implementation partners, and mentor internal teams.
- Implement secure, compliant, auditable, and governance-first engineering practices for regulated healthcare environments and synthetic data initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with expertise in application architecture, API development, testing, source control, CI/CD, deployment automation, and modern software engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting production AI applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building enterprise-grade software solutions with modern development frameworks and engineering best practices.
- Experience developing AI solutions with large language models and platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or comparable technologies.
- Experience with cloud-native application development, containerization, infrastructure automation, observability platforms, logging, monitoring, and enterprise production support.
- Knowledge of RAG, agentic AI, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and AI quality engineering preferred.
- Experience supporting data governance, privacy, security, and compliance in regulated environments, preferably healthcare or similar industries, preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
