Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and select AI models based on product needs and business requirements.
- Design and build evaluation frameworks for AI systems and configure observability platforms to monitor production performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune existing AI models.
- Develop and maintain AI-powered application features using Python.
- Test and validate AI model performance in real-world scenarios and troubleshoot issues.
- Identify opportunities to apply advances in AI technology to Vetcove products.
- Work with the CTO, engineering team, and other functions to evolve the platform and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least four years of software development experience, including experience building a successful production application with a modern web framework.
- Strong knowledge of AI models, agent SDKs, agent harnesses, and AI model fine-tuning.
- Strong engineering fundamentals across back-end technologies.
- Ability to design features around data models with attention to accuracy, security, and performance.
- A positive attitude and one-for-all team mentality.
