Base Salary
$90k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain QuickScan software, including new features, refactoring, and defect resolution.
- Perform build and release engineering, including toolchain setup, build outputs, and release management.
- Maintain project dependencies and repeatable builds across development environments.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues reported by manufacturing, field teams, and customers.
- Collaborate on TotalHub integration workflows, data transport, and customer user experience.
- Create developer documentation, build and run SOPs, troubleshooting playbooks, and lifecycle documentation.
- Participate in formal problem solving, change management, and continuous improvement activities.
- Gather voice-of-customer feedback and communicate consistently with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience developing and supporting production C++ software.
- Strong experience with Qt Widgets, Qt Quick, UI tooling, and model/view patterns.
- Strong Windows native development and build experience, including the MSVC toolchain and command-line builds.
- Production JavaScript experience is required.
- Strong debugging ability across code, libraries, and dependencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools including Teams.
- Ability to create clear standard work and documentation and support both feature engineering and field issues.
- Additional skills training and certifications are welcome but not required.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, Elixir, React, and modern AI-assisted tools is a plus.
