Responsibilities
- Design system architectures that break high-level user goals into executable autonomous steps.
- Integrate AI models with external services, databases, and APIs so agents can manipulate data and perform actions.
- Develop system prompts, reasoning pathways, and function-calling logic for agent decision-making and tool usage.
- Implement short-term and long-term memory and state-management systems for conversational and workflow context.
- Monitor agents in production and implement safety guardrails, error handling, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 1+ year of relevant experience or a PhD.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with agent and chain orchestration frameworks such as LangChain.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, tokenization, embeddings, and model API capabilities.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and scaling intelligent applications.
- Equivalent experience may be considered when it demonstrates the ability to fulfill the role's duties and competencies.
