Responsibilities

  • Support the development, integration, and deployment of training systems and associated software applications.
  • Assist with networking design, system configuration, and interfacing with platform simulation applications.
  • Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software for training system components.
  • Install, configure, and support software applications and operating systems used in simulation environments.
  • Participate in requirements review, design, coding, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot product-level software and system issues and support corrective actions.
  • Communicate project status, technical issues, risks, and recommended solutions to engineers and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain design notes, installation guides, test procedures, and software support documentation.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and integration engineers on configuration updates and capability enhancements.
  • Follow engineering procedures, configuration management guidelines, quality standards, and security policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in software development, systems integration, or engineering support roles.
  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages, debugging methods, and structured development practices.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, networking principles, and software installation processes.
  • Ability to work with general technical direction, diagnose issues, propose practical solutions, and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for status reporting and technical documentation.
  • Preferred experience with simulation devices, training systems, defense-related software environments, system integration, version control, configuration management, distributed computing, networking protocols, simulation networking technologies, and complex hardware-software troubleshooting.
  • Must be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
