Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of AI infrastructure supporting HPC and AI workloads.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and improve service availability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across compute, storage, networking, GPUs, InfiniBand, and related infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation tools for deployment, monitoring, predictive analysis, and management of AI infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance on cloud and AI infrastructure technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Required qualifications include a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 1+ year of technical experience, or a bachelor’s degree in one of those fields plus 6+ years of technical experience, or equivalent experience.
- Requires 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years in service operations, monitoring, and infrastructure reliability improvement.
- Requires 1+ year of experience with incident management and reliability engineering in cloud or AI environments.
- Candidates must be able to pass Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screenings, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with large-scale cloud or distributed systems, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, container ecosystems, GPUs, InfiniBand, or similar high-performance technologies.
