Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Mainframe Assembler.
- Design, code, test, and debug mainframe programs.
- Create and maintain JCLs for batch processing and job scheduling.
- Support and maintain applications in the IBM z/OS environment.
- Analyze and resolve production incidents and performance issues.
- Perform impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers, and support teams.
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Requirements
- 4–9 years of hands-on experience in mainframe technologies.
- Strong programming expertise in Assembler.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting JCL.
- Strong knowledge of the IBM z/OS environment.
- Experience with production support and incident management.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
