Responsibilities
- Code, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications and automations for trading, hardware development, and execution teams.
- Gather requirements and feedback from internal stakeholders to implement automation solutions.
- Own end-to-end product development from requirements gathering through production.
- Develop reliable, high-performance software while balancing latency, throughput, simplicity, scalability, maintainability, quality, and time to production.
- Collaborate with engineers, traders, researchers, and quants on challenging multidisciplinary projects.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in C++, with experience in the latest C++ versions highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Python scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
- Experience gathering business requirements, communicating with stakeholders, and delivering solutions quickly.
- Ability to work on greenfield projects under minimal supervision and take full ownership of applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with creative and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly evolving environment; prior trading or capital markets knowledge is not required.
