Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer and internal requirements and translate them into software architecture, design elements, and implementation plans.
  • Develop, configure, integrate, and validate AUTOSAR software components and BSW modules including COM, DCM, DEM, NVM, CAN NM, and BSWM.
  • Implement and maintain CAN, SPI, and UDS diagnostic communication functionality.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and maintain embedded software in C, C++, and Python for automotive safety systems.
  • Prepare architecture, design, source-code, unit-test, static-analysis, and other ASPICE-compliant documentation.
  • Use IC5000 and Trace32 for debugging, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct memory, timing, and bus-load analyses to evaluate system performance and stability.
  • Collaborate with customers, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in automotive embedded software development.
  • Strong knowledge of software development processes, ASPICE, AUTOSAR architecture, software-component development, BSW configuration, and ECU system integration.
  • Proficiency with CAN, SPI, and UDS diagnostics.
  • Strong C and C++ programming skills with working knowledge of Python for automation and tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with Codebeamer, Enterprise Architect, PTC, and related toolchains.
  • Proficiency with IC5000 and Trace32 and the ability to perform systematic root-cause analysis.
  • Preferred experience with bootloader development, integration, or debugging.
  • Understanding of automotive cybersecurity, secure coding principles, and associated standards is preferred.
  • Strong documentation, communication, collaboration, and structured-process skills.
  • BE, BTech, ME, or MTech qualification.
