Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS-first cloud architecture for scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient services.
- Manage cloud environments supporting Check Point’s XDR products and Autonomous Workspace Platform.
- Resolve large-scale production issues and improve reliability, availability, efficiency, and observability.
- Automate operations and development processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve developer experience.
- Improve deployment practices, monitoring, infrastructure management, and operational maturity.
- Collaborate with R&D, Security, Product, and other stakeholders to integrate DevOps practices.
- Own work end to end from problem analysis and solution design through implementation and production rollout.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant DevOps experience in large-scale production environments.
- Extensive experience with cloud computing technologies, preferably AWS.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, especially Grafana.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with GitOps and CI/CD methodologies and tools.
- Production experience with Kubernetes or managed container services such as EKS, AKS, or ECS.
- Understanding of secure development lifecycles, cloud security, and infrastructure security.
- Ability to independently analyze problems, propose practical solutions, and drive implementation end to end.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with both AWS and Azure.
- Preferred: experience with MongoDB Atlas, Azure Data Explorer, Cosmos DB, Amazon RDS, or Amazon Aurora.
- Preferred: PostgreSQL management, performance tuning, and optimization experience.
- Preferred: Python scripting or development experience.
