Base Salary
$219k - $315k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the operating system platform for on-vehicle devices and applications.
- Architect and implement robust, scalable platform-level software for robotics infrastructure.
- Configure and manage embedded Linux build systems such as Yocto and bootloader processes such as U-Boot.
- Develop and optimize device drivers and kernel-space components using C, C++, or Rust.
- Collaborate with development, release management, hardware engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams on integration, issue triage, hardware bring-up, and deployment.
Requirements
- 8+ years delivering production systems and software applications.
- Experience designing and deploying end-to-end continuous integration and validation toolchains for Linux/OS images across different hardware platforms.
- Proficiency with Linux internals, including init systems, containerization, filesystems, kernel-space development, device drivers, and systems programming.
- Proficiency in C or C++ and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
