Base Salary

$185k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Set technical direction and architecture for AgentCore’s APIs, SDKs, CLI, console, infrastructure tooling, and local development workflows.
  • Design cohesive abstractions, configuration models, and cross-service workflows for AgentCore.
  • Lead new developer-facing services and capabilities from concept through production launch and operation.
  • Simplify connections among models, tools, MCP servers, memory, identity, and custom environments through defaults, templates, and automation.
  • Improve the build-test-evaluate-deploy loop while preserving extensibility and customer control.
  • Design versioning, deployment, rollback, evaluation, optimization, diagnostics, and operational visibility capabilities.
  • Build highly available, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient control-plane and data-plane components.
  • Work with customers and cross-functional engineering and product partners to shape technical and product decisions.
  • Lead implementation, architecture and code reviews, operational readiness, mentoring, and cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
  • Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • Base salary is listed at $184,900.00–$250,200.00 USD annually for New York, New York.
