Responsibilities
- Own Proxi’s agent runtime and strengthen the foundations for agent-driven products.
- Build orchestration systems for stateful, long-running, and multi-agent workflows.
- Develop safe tool and action infrastructure with strong contracts, permissions, and approval boundaries.
- Connect agents to retrieval and knowledge systems for grounded reasoning, memory, citations, and generated artifacts.
- Improve evaluation, tracing, simulations, and release discipline for agent behavior while controlling latency, cost, and risk.
Requirements
- Experience with production orchestration for stateful, long-running, and multi-agent workflows.
- Experience with tool and action infrastructure, permissions, approval boundaries, retrieval, context engineering, evidence management, or persistent agent memory.
- Experience with model-runtime engineering across providers, latency profiles, and deployment environments.
- Experience with evaluation, tracing, security, and operational control of nondeterministic systems.
- Experience deploying agent systems in government, defense, legal, healthcare, or other regulated environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with policy and legal research involving temporal accuracy, provenance, and citation precision is a plus.
- Experience operating self-hosted or multi-provider inference in restricted environments is a plus.
- Experience building agents that create durable artifacts or perform permissioned actions on behalf of users is a plus.
