Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and tooling.
- Plan and execute testing strategies across applications, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to support high-quality releases.
- Define, track, and analyze quality metrics and improve quality processes.
- Drive test automation, continuous delivery, and quality engineering best practices.
- Perform exploratory and risk-based testing to identify edge cases and improve resilience.
- Document business rules, systems, and testing strategies.
- Assist development teams with bug reporting, reproduction, isolation, and investigation.
- Support and mentor team members while helping grow quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
- Strong automated testing experience using JavaScript and/or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven or asynchronous processing systems such as Apache Kafka.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deployment platforms.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs with tools such as RestAssured.
- Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as K6 is preferred.
- Experience in Agile, fast-paced, continuous delivery environments and Git-based version control.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with SQL and non-SQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of Google BigQuery is preferred.
- Understanding of test automation design patterns, Test-Driven Development, and Behavior-Driven Development.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
- Experience integrating AI into testing workflows and understanding of prompt engineering, AI-output evaluation, and AI-driven testing governance.
