Base Salary
$152k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for software design and architecture, data structures and algorithms, Linux, multithreading, and networking.
- Program and script using C++, Go, C, Python, Ansible, and Bash, and code in C++, Python, and Java.
- Perform peer code reviews and support applications under development.
- Containerize applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
- Monitor and log applications using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Support software updates, application integration, testing, and software release rollouts.
- Document software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, requirements, recommendations, and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and integration needs.
- Work with Quality Assurance to evaluate whether applications meet specifications and technical requirements.
- Guide and mentor junior-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Five years of experience with software design and architecture, data structures and algorithms, Linux, multithreading, networking, C++, Go, C, Python, Ansible, and Bash.
- Three years of experience coding in C++, Python, and Java and conducting peer code reviews.
- Experience containerizing applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
- One year of experience monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
