Base Salary
$87k - $123k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts and frameworks, including complex automation.
- Lead automated test execution, interpret results, and identify software issues.
- Document and manage software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Help build automation strategies, establish best practices, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor test and quality automation engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Document training materials and provide training on automation tools and frameworks.
- Perform manual testing when needed and contribute to automation innovation efforts.
Requirements
- Require 4–7 years of overall testing experience, including 2–4 years of automation testing, or equivalent automation training.
- Require strong proficiency in core Java programming concepts.
- Require strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Require API automation experience using Karate.
- Require UI automation experience using Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Require experience using Jenkins for CI/CD and building pipelines.
- Require strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience mentoring test automation teams.
