Base Salary

$196k - $242k/yr

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted technical advisor to external game development studios.
Optimize performance, scalability, and quality for game development.
Develop prototypes that test the limits of the engine's capabilities.
Contribute Luau code to demonstrate game mode feasibility.
Advocate for core engine and debugging tooling projects.
Collaborate with engineers across the Solutions, core engine, and Roblox Studio teams.

3+ years of professional game development experience focused on performance optimization.
Experience with Roblox / Luau development is a strong plus.
A track record of quality games on the Roblox platform is a very strong plus.
Passion for building development tools like profilers and debuggers.
C++ experience is a plus but not required.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
