Base Salary

$149k - $248k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design solutions aligned with business needs in partnership with product and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate design reviews, architecture discussions, and feature planning.
  • Develop architecture standards, reusable patterns, and frameworks while enforcing best practices.
  • Lead technology modernization and architectural investment prioritization for marketplace services.
  • Integrate AI capabilities and translate high-impact AI use cases into scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Develop strategies for AI agent interaction, autonomous workflows, and orchestration.
  • Assess emerging AI technologies and coordinate governance for ethical and regulatory adherence.
  • Mentor engineering teams, lead proofs of concept and reference implementations, and contribute to documentation and training.
  • Serve as a technical expert and bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of software development experience at mid-to-large companies, or an advanced degree with relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of solution or technical architecture experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies and concepts including LLMs, autonomous agents, vector databases, model selection, agent-based architecture, data pipelines, and AI-assisted PDLC.
  • 3+ years of AWS cloud architecture experience.
  • Experience applying enterprise patterns to distributed systems, including RESTful APIs, microservices, events, and micro-frontends.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical mentoring skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include legacy-system modernization experience, technical writing and presentation skills, conflict management abilities, and automotive industry background or interest.
