Responsibilities
- Build and operate scalable, highly available backend services in C#/.NET, Python, and Go using Azure and Kubernetes.
- Develop LLM-powered features including model integration, context pipelines, RAG, tool calling, agents, and evaluation with platforms such as Azure AI Foundry.
- Design event-driven, asynchronous architectures across microservices.
- Own end-to-end delivery, including infrastructure as code with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production incident response.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and platform teams and participate in code and design reviews.
- Use AI-assisted coding agents to design, write, and review code to the same standards as handwritten code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience designing and building production backend services in C#/.NET, Python, or Go across the full software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience building LLM products involving inference, structured outputs, RAG, tool calling, or agents, using platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI API, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Anthropic API.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor, including spec-driven development, context management, and verified, tested output.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and microservices, plus experience with a major cloud provider.
- Knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS architecture and operating systems at scale.
- Preferred experience building tools, APIs, or integrations for AI agents, including MCP servers, function/tool-calling interfaces, or plugins.
- Preferred depth in ML and MLOps, including fine-tuning, evaluation harnesses, and production model deployment.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
- Background in identity security, privileged access management, or Zero Trust architectures is a bonus.
