Responsibilities
- Continuously improve the platform underpinning DAZN’s services.
- Write and review code rather than only YAML or configuration files.
- Design and build a cloud-agnostic platform layer.
- Work with Kubernetes, Envoy, ArgoCD, and other cloud-native technologies.
- Support large-scale cloud deployments, networking, and infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Improve authentication, authorization, security processes, and security tooling.
- Support developers globally and participate in on-call support.
Requirements
- Experience building, securing, and managing Kubernetes clusters for others to use.
- Knowledge and experience with containerized or serverless workloads.
- Coding experience in Golang, TypeScript, or another high-level language.
- Experience with event-driven or asynchronous designs.
- Experience with Golang at a good proficiency level is desirable.
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio is desirable.
- Experience with multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments is desirable.
- Understanding of OAuth/OIDC flows and authentication and authorization is desirable.
- Understanding and practical application of SRE concepts is desirable.
- A considerate, inclusive, and team-oriented approach is expected.
