Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to build and maintain cloud-based applications using Node.js and AWS.
- Develop and implement features and functionality for existing applications.
- Design scalable and efficient solutions to complex problems.
- Identify performance issues and optimize cloud applications for speed and scalability.
- Write clean, secure, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Contribute to architectural and design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews and help ensure code quality and freedom from vulnerabilities.
- Stay current with cloud computing, Node.js, and security trends and recommend best practices.
- Contribute to deployment automation through CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in Node.js and AWS development.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and containerization.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
