Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain scalable microservices architectures.
- Develop APIs and integrate internal and external systems.
- Implement, document, unit-test, and prepare software components for integration.
- Architect solutions, support deployment, and build CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and perform unit and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance and availability.
- Provide work estimates and guide features, functional objectives, and technologies.
- Take technical ownership of solution design and delivery.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of overall experience as a Lead Engineer or Senior Software Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Solid front-end exposure using React.
- Strong experience with microservices architecture and API development.
- Understanding of API design, versioning, and documentation.
- Experience with relational databases including Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Banking/BFSI domain experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with high-volume, high-availability enterprise systems is preferred.
- Prior technical lead experience with ownership of design and delivery is preferred.
