Responsibilities
- Refine and execute GoFundMe's multi-year payments strategy.
- Design and implement the end-to-end product lifecycle for payout solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product management, designers, and external partners.
- Own critical technical decisions across ledgering, money movement, and disbursement.
- Mentor other engineers through chat, code review, and pair programming.
- Lead projects from conception to completion, balancing technical trade-offs and business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in payment systems.
- Deep expertise in Checkout/Payment methods, Payouts, Ledgering, and KYC/Onboarding.
- Experience architecting services and systems using well-accepted design patterns.
- Strong project leadership skills with timely delivery focus.
- Expertise in application performance monitoring and log analytics tools.
