Responsibilities
- Propose Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate hands-on with customers throughout the sales cycle from demos to PoCs.
- Understand competitors and complementary technologies to clarify Snowflake's positioning.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Snowflake's products and marketing.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in enterprise data architecture and data engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a pre-sales environment.
- Exceptional presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to connect customer-specific business challenges with Snowflake solutions.
- Deep understanding of customer architecture frameworks and integration with Snowflake.
- Broad experience in large databases, data warehousing, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on development experience with SQL, Python, and big data technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of data integration services and tools for building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with streaming technologies and real-time use cases.
- Experience designing interoperable data lakehouse architectures.
- Strong architectural expertise in data engineering.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
