Responsibilities
- Deliver on goals spanning a 6-18 month timeframe.
- Define the roadmap for the next 12 months.
- Build and design the integrated search platform in Java.
- Provide technical vision and direction based on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Advise management on roadmap, processes, architecture, and design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams on large initiatives.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster growth.
- Cultivate talent through interviewing and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data management systems.
- Proficient in modern programming languages and techniques.
- Experience in developing distributed systems, cloud services, and SaaS products.
- Preferred experience in designing and maintaining search platforms or distributed databases.
- Preferred experience in debugging and profiling multithreaded JVM applications.
