Base Salary
$140k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable new solutions and product improvements for the Mobile Device Management product suite.
- Develop large-scale backend software applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Implement design patterns and ship enterprise-level software serving millions of endpoints.
- Develop and operate microservices deployed on AWS ECS.
- Create client- and server-side functionality for responsive messaging.
- Collaborate with Apple and Google to shape enterprise mobility strategy and develop solutions for iOS, Android, Chrome OS, and Windows devices.
- Maintain high software quality standards and contribute to engineering practices.
- Use AI-powered tools and work on multi-agent systems to accelerate software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of Kotlin or Java software development experience for product applications or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience working with highly scalable software systems.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming design principles, API best practices, REST service development, and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Expertise in relational database design and development.
- Experience creating client- and server-side development for responsive messaging.
- Experience with RabbitMQ; familiarity with Kafka is a plus.
- Hands-on experience developing microservices, deploying on ECS, and running them in AWS.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tooling is valued.
- Caching systems expertise and Redis experience are preferred.
- Solid Kotlin expertise is preferred.
