Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer objections, and develop strategies to achieve technical wins for cloud-native application architectures.
- Educate startups and scaleups on Google Cloud’s value proposition and lead architectural discussions for successful Google Cloud Platform deployments.
- Collaborate with sales teams to formulate and execute strategies that exceed business objectives through GCP adoption.
- Build relationships with executive technical stakeholders and customers to create cloud advocates.
- Develop cloud solutions and architectures, engage in proofs of concept, and troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events and act as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Six years of experience with architectural design patterns, platform engineering, virtualization deployments, container deployments, application security, or networking.
- Experience working with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Preferred experience with the startup ecosystem and technical sales or consulting in cloud computing, application development, and cloud-native architectures.
- Preferred experience assessing and building architectures involving application runtimes, databases, serverless environments, containers, Kubernetes stacks, and event-driven designs.
- Preferred expertise developing AI applications using APIs or MCP, integrating agents through Agent Development Kit or Agent2Agent Protocol, or deploying AI-empowered applications.
Benefits
- Germany base salary of €112000–€114000 EUR, plus a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events is required as needed.
