Base Salary

$124k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Execute software solution design, development, technical troubleshooting, and maintenance with limited guidance.
  • Write secure, high-quality code and consider upstream and downstream system impacts.
  • Build scalable UI automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java, Python, or C#, and Microsoft Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Implement Page Object Model, data-driven testing, and keyword-driven testing frameworks.
  • Integrate visual regression and accessibility testing into UI automation suites.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools to support coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating generated outputs.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
  • Champion shift-left testing through early requirements validation and test-driven development practices.
  • Apply software development lifecycle processes, automation capabilities, resiliency practices, and security expectations.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, full-stack or automation engineering.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database query languages.
  • Experience integrating visual regression and accessibility testing into UI automation frameworks or suites.
  • Experience using GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Claude Code, or comparable AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to evaluate and validate generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Preferred familiarity with Spring Boot, Java, REST APIs, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, and Git.
  • Preferred exposure to AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, including EKS.
  • Preferred experience with self-healing test frameworks and performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, and k6.
