Responsibilities

  • Automate and optimize software delivery processes for development and operations teams.
  • Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for Docker, Terraform, and Helm deployments.
  • Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including modules, state management, and pipeline-integrated workflows.
  • Containerize Java, Python, and ReactJS applications and support migrations to Amazon EKS.
  • Deploy, manage, and debug Kubernetes workloads and core Kubernetes objects.
  • Develop, debug, and integrate backend services through RESTful APIs.
  • Use Git workflows and manage repositories in GitLab or Bitbucket.
  • Monitor cluster health, application performance, and logs using Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployment tasks with Bash or Python scripting.
  • Apply GitOps deployment patterns using ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Manage connectivity involving AWS VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancing.
  • Collaborate with developers, systems administrators, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams on infrastructure, deployment, and automation needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a Cloud DevOps role.
  • Understanding of software development, system administration, and DevOps principles.
  • Basic knowledge of Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with cloud and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Expertise with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Preferred experience includes academic, internship, or personal projects involving cloud, DevOps, automation, or backend systems.
  • Preferred familiarity with Git, networking concepts, monitoring and logging tools, cloud security, distributed systems, production operations, and reliability engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, independence, adaptability, and ability to learn new tools quickly.
